How is my data stored?

All your sea service records are stored locally on your device. Nothing is sent to a server. To back up your data, use the Export feature in the app to save a copy.

What counts as a qualifying sea service day?

The app follows USCG guidelines: a qualifying day requires a minimum of 4 hours underway on a vessel. Days are counted by calendar date, not by hours accumulated across multiple outings on the same day.

What are the USCG license requirements?

Requirements vary by license type (OUPV / Six-Pack, 25-ton, 50-ton, 100-ton, etc.). The app tracks qualifying sea service days and displays progress toward your selected license goal. Always verify current requirements with the USCG National Maritime Center.

How do I cancel my Pro subscription?

Subscriptions are managed through Apple or Google. To cancel:

I lost my data after reinstalling. Can I recover it?

Because data is stored locally, an uninstall will remove it. We recommend using the Export feature regularly to keep a backup. We cannot recover data that was not exported.
